Lately I’ve been inspired by so many friends that get in the frame with their children. So the other day I decided to shoot just for me. I didn’t care if I had makeup on or if my hair looked perfect. I just wanted some pictures of me with Jaxon before he grows up and is too cool to snuggle with Mommy. I want to remember how at 2 years-old (almost 3!) he always grabs my hand to walk up the stairs. He says, “I love you Mommy” in the most adorable little voice and gives me hugs at the most random times. He has a fascination with trucks and all things that move but he also loves his stuffed animals Buddy and Ducky. Sometimes I wish he could stay little forever but I also realize what a gift it is to watch him grow and discover this great big world.
